Terms of Service

Welcome to Findrr. By creating an account or using findrr.app (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). Please read them carefully.

1. The Service

Findrr is a free, community-driven map of public facilities (toilets, drinking water, Wi-Fi hotspots, charging points, and similar). The map is built from user submissions and reviews.

2. Accounts

• You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
• You are responsible for keeping your password safe and for all activity under your account.
• One person per account. Sharing accounts is not allowed.

3. User Content

By submitting markers, reviews, photos, or any other content, you confirm that:

• The content is your own or you have the right to share it;
• The content does not violate any law or third-party right;
• You grant Findrr a worldwide, royalty-free license to display, store, and distribute the content through the Service.

4. Prohibited Use

You agree not to:

• Post false or misleading locations, spam, hate speech, harassment, or illegal content;
• Upload photos of identifiable individuals without their consent;
• Attempt to bypass authentication, scrape data at scale, or probe the Service for vulnerabilities;
• Use the Service to stalk, harass, or endanger others.

5. Moderation

Administrators may remove markers, reviews, or photos that violate these Terms, and may suspend or terminate accounts that repeatedly break the rules. Point penalties may apply for deleted content.

6. Advertising

The Service is funded by ads (e.g., Google AdSense). Advertisers may use cookies and similar technologies, subject to our Privacy Policy. You can manage ad preferences in the cookie banner.

7. Subscription (Future)

We may offer a paid subscription to remove ads. Pricing, cancellation terms, and billing details will be presented at the time of purchase. EU consumers retain the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal unless the service has been fully consumed during that period.

8. Intellectual Property

The Findrr name, logo, and code are the property of Ancuta Rares Petru. These Terms grant you no rights over them beyond using the Service as intended.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. Marker data is user-generated and may be inaccurate. Use at your own risk — we are not responsible for the condition, safety, or availability of any facility listed.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Findrr's liability for any claim arising out of the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (which, for free users, is zero).

11. Termination

You may close your account at any time by emailing us. We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these Terms, with or without notice.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Romania. Disputes will be resolved by the competent courts of Romania, unless mandatory consumer-protection rules in your country of residence provide otherwise.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced via the app. Continued use after changes means you accept the new Terms.
